Ich hab mich heute morgen spontan umentschieden und hab heute schon das Antarctic Centre besucht. Im Center kann man ganz viel sehen, lesen und lernen ueber die Antarktis. Es gibt ganz viele Infos und ich fand es total interessant. Wenn ich irgendwann mal genuegend Geld ueber habe, werde ich vielleicht auch mal die Antarktis besuchen. Warum auch nicht? Ist ja schliesslich ein Kontinent dieser Erde, auch wenn es dort etwas kaelter sein koennte als sonstwo.

Ich hab auch die Fahrt im Hagglund mitgemacht. Ein Hagglund ist eine All-Terrain-Fahrzeug und kann ueber Schnee, Eis und im Wasser fahren.

Ausserdem hat das Center noch Pinguine zu bieten. Die Pinguine, die hier zu sehen sind, sind Kleine Blaue Pinguine.

In the morning I changed my mind and I went to the Antarctic Centre today instead tomorrow. In the Antarctic Centre you can read, see and learn a lot about Antarctica. I think it is very interesting. If I have enough money I will book a trip to Antarctica even if it is very, very cold there. Colder than on other places on the earth.

I also did the drive in the Hagglund. The Hagglund is a All-Terrain-Vehicle and can drive about snow, ice and in the water.

And you can see penguins in the centre too. The penguins you can see here are little blue penguins.

Gestern bin ich mit JetStar von Melbourne nach Christchurch geflogen. Gegen 23 Uhr bin ich hier gelandet und dann hat mich mein vorbestelltes Shuttle zu meinem Hotel gebracht. Da einchecken war problemlos und jetzt nenne ich eine nettes Studio-Zimmer mein Zuhause. Naja, Zuhause ist vielleicht etwas zu viel gesagt, da ich hier nur 3 Naechte verbringe.

Heute war ich schon im Visitorcenter und hab mir Infos ueber Christchurch und ueber Neuseeland besorgt. Gleich werde ich mal schoen gemuetlich durch die Stadt schlendern und mir Gedanken darueber machen, was ich morgen so machen werde. Uebermorgen - bevor ich meine Eltern am Flughafen abholen werde - werde ich mir das Antarctica-Center ansehen. Da dreht sich dann alles um die Antarktis.

Yesterday I flew from Melbourne to Christchurch with JetStar. We landed around 11pm and my pre-booked took me to my hotel. The check-in was easy and now I can call a nice studio room my home. Home is maybe to much because I will only stay there for 3 nights.

Today I was at the visitorcenter here in the city and now I have a lot of information about Christchurch and New Zealand. When I am finished here, I will walk a bit thru the city and think about what I can do tomorrow. The day after tomorrow I will a have a look at the Antarctica-Center before I meet my parents at the airport.

Ich hab die Uhrzeit im Blog schon mal auf Neuseeland-Zeit umgestellt. Wundert euch also nicht, wenn eure Umrechnung jetzt nicht mehr stimmt. Ausserdem hab ich auch eine Neuseeland-Uhr eingefuegt.

Naja, zumindest fuer die naechsten vier Wochen. Denn da werde ich zusammen mit meinem Eltern Neuseeland bereisen und unseren Freund besuchen. *freu*

Ich bin noch im Hotel. Hab aber schon alles gepackt und in ca. 3 Stunden geht es los Melbourner Flughafen. Und dann ins Flugzeug nach Christchurch, Neuseeland.

At least for the next 4 weeks. Then I will be back to Australia. Today I will fly to New Zealand. There I will meet my parents and we will travel together for 4 weeks and visit a friend.

At the moment I am still at the hotel. I already packed my stuff and in approx 3 hours I will take a taxi to the Melbourne airport. Then I take a plane to Christchurch, New Zealand.
